Updated: May 5, 2020
This is my first review of this ... bid.
Here we go:
Let's start with the current picture, CCS data from May 1, 2020:
The Displacement Bid 20-07D first showed up on CCS, showing DCA 787 FO displacement at 33. All subsequent documents show 32.
I'll start with the tables, followed by the numbers that went into the tables.
The categories marked with the red circles are are to be terminated with Bid 20-07D.
The LAX777CA "category" is not a mistake.
CCS has shown the following for the last few years:
I ignore it throughout the site, but it showed up in this matrix:
The CCS staffing numbers for May 1, 2020, and the Bid 20-07D numbers for category closures don't match exactly, as Manpower planning accounts slightly differently for pilots on leave, TI, CP, etc., across the various publications and reports, including CCS staffing reports. So, their tools for headcounts for bid purposes vary from CCS staffing reports.
The Matrix showing projected staffing from the MIN/MAX document.
MIN=MAX for all categories:
These are the static seniority numbers from the yearly seniority list - and called "SysSen" in CCS:
And finally, the bid numbers with my totals and notes.
The original "Message from Bryan" was truncated and hard to follow - it has since been cleaned up. However, as of May 5, 2020, the DCA787FO category still shows 33 active pilots being displaced, while all other documents show 32.
The totals have not changed, but this should be a lot easier to read:
In the coming days I plan to create some visualization tools for this kind of bid.
